This is predicted by 43% of participants in a nationally representative survey by the online marketing research agency JTN, conducted between December 7-10 among 600 men and women aged 18-74. Ninety percent of those surveyed will use their salary or savings to buy Christmas presents, and only 2% will take out a loan for this purpose. Most of the respondents say they have set aside a budget of between 100 and 250 leva for Christmas presents and for no more than four people, while 4% say they will not buy presents at all.
